Kash's Story

FAST FACTS:
* 5 months old & 38lbs
* Dog-friendly, prefers polite play style
* Kid-friendly
* Working on potty-training
* Working on crate-training
* Spunky, spirited, cuddly teddy bear

Meet Kash! At just 5 months old, Kash is a suspected ACD/Heeler mix who came to us as a stray from Southern Illinois. And while we can’t say exactly what his DNA has in store for us, his personality is already coming through loud and clear!

Kash is an absolute lovebug who thinks pretty much every person he meets is his new best friend. He is VERY cuddly, very people-oriented, and happiest when he can be right in the middle of whatever his humans are doing. He also does great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around, although he prefers polite, appropriate play over full-contact puppy wrestling.

True to his age (and likely his breed), Kash is energetic, playful, feisty, and just a little bit spicy! He loves walks, toys, and being around both people and dogs. He can also be quite the little communicator—he’s more talkative/whiny and expressive than barky, so expect him to have some opinions and make sure you’re prepared to hear them!

Kash is still very much a puppy and is working on potty training, crate training, and those all-important puppy manners. He’s incredibly sweet and seems to be a smart, eager-to-learn little guy, so consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement will go a long way.

We think Kash would thrive with someone who is home often and excited to put in the time and effort that comes with raising a young, active dog. He’s looking for a family who understands that puppies are adorable little chaos machines—but who is ready to help him grow into the wonderful adult dog we know he can be.

If you’re looking for a cuddly, clever, energetic sidekick with a big personality and even bigger heart, Kash might just be your guy!

If interested in adopting me please fill out an application on our website at www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org; please make sure you fill in every required field/question or your submission will not go through.
