Meet Kasey- The sweetest boy! This loving and goofy pup is the total package. He's playful, smart, loving and ready to find a forever family of his own. With his gentle nature and happy spirit, he’ll melt your heart the moment you meet him. Kasey’s story almost ended too soon. He was on borrowed time at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter when an angel stepped in to foster him. Now he’s thriving in a loving home and showing what an incredible dog he is. A few words from his foster about his personality and traits: Kasey LOVES cuddles, belly rubs and being close to his people. He is very playful & fun. He enjoys toys, playing catch and has the cutest, goofy side. He is very smart & trainable. He is already potty trained (even goes on command!), crate trained, knows "sit" and is now learning "stay." He still has his puppy energy and a very adventurous soul. He’d make a fantastic hiking or water-activity buddy! Since he is so smart, he is well on his way to having great manners. He walks nicely on the leash and is eager to please. Don't let his active and playful puppy demeanor fool you, he also settles in beautifully after playtime for cozy naps alongside his foster when it's time to wind down. While he may have a little separation anxiety at first, he calms quickly and learns fast. He’s not shy, loves other dogs and would be an amazing addition to a family who wants a loyal, fun and snuggly companion. Cactus Palms Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Steps of our adoption process: Step 1- Potential adopter will submit an application. Application will be reviewed and if approved, will move to step 2. Step 2- Approved applicant will be emailed and an introductory, virtual call will be scheduled. If interest advances, move to step 3. Step 3- A meet-and-greet will be scheduled for the potential family/adopter to meet the pet in person. This will be the opportunity that the potential adopter can introduce their children, pets, etc. to meet the dog and ensure that all personalities can happily and successfully cohabitate. If interest continues, move to step 4. Step 4- Contract will be sent electronically to the adopter to sign. Step 5- Adoption fee will be paid electronically Step 6- Adoption hand-off will be scheduled. Step 7- Adoption day will involve a second meet-and-greet and the hand off of all necessary items from us to the new pet owner will occur.
