Karma *Special Needs*'s Story
This sweet senior Whippet is all heart and smiles. Around 8 years old, Karma is affectionate, easygoing, and loves nothing more than being close to her people. She’s a champion snuggler, a pillow enthusiast, and generous with gentle kisses.

Karma does have diabetes (along with a couple of other manageable conditions), but she takes it all in stride. Her care routine is well-established, she’s great about her medications, and her glucose is monitored easily with a simple scan-and-app system. Our team will happily support adopters every step of the way.

She’s potty trained, crate trained, travels well in the car, and lives peacefully with a dog and a cat. Karma enjoys companionship but also knows how to relax and soak up the cozy life. True to her sighthound roots, she’d do best in a home without small pocket pets or birds.

If you’re looking for a loving, low-key companion who will reward you with devotion, cuddles, and that irresistible smile, Karma may be your perfect match.

The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.

Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal.
