Karma

Karma is a very sweet, lovable little tri-colored sheltie - probably about as sweet as they come. She is very good on leash walks but is still a bit nervous so needs some extra care and support. Crate training is in the past for her since she is no longer interested. <br/><br/>Like most shelties, Karma is food motivated. That being said, she eats like a princess and takes her time. She is very gentle when taking treats. There have been no issues with other pets in her foster home so other dogs or cats are not an issue for her. <br/><br/>Karma's ideal family:<br/>- has a fully fenced, secured backyard so she has a safe place to enjoy the outdoors. This is not negotiable<br/>- has a calm home with consistent routines. Karma is timid and her new family needs to be patient with her adjustment<br/>- understands she has high emotional needs and will want to be near her people<br/>- commits to daily walks for both exercise and mental stimulation<br/>- is aware Karma will will benefit from a dental procedure in the next year or two and will commit to following their veterinary recommendations<br/><br/>Only applications from families in Alberta will be considered at this time.
