KARMA's Story
While out feeding our strays in Tulsa, Ok, We came across 2 faces we recognized running in and out of the street not paying any attention to traffic. We immediately pulled over and tried to call the dogs, but they were having a grand adventure and wanted nothing to do with us.
A man came out of his home and asked if they were ours and we told them no, but we knew where they belonged. He proceeded to go into his home and bring out an extremely aggressive pocket bully who was on a makeshift loop lead on his hind legs screaming and lunging toward the dogs we were trying to catch. He advised us that his dog was trained to kill humans and animals and we had better get them dogs. Now, both dogs too fearful to approach us and a very stressful situation happening I phoned a friend who I knew could get the dogs also and he without hesitation came to our aid.

We were informed that one of them who we sponsored a spay for earlier this year was now homeless as her owners didn't want her anymore and that's how Karma came to be a Mercy Dog. Her former name was Oreo and she was used as a cash cow for ungrateful people. once she was spayed, she was no longer wanted. Instead of putting her back on the streets, we put her in the car and took the other dog back to its home.

Karma was heartworm positive, underweight and very timid upon intake. she's become a completely different dog and has been treated, vaccinated, microchipped, and loves dog friends and children. she has the classic pittie wiggle. she is potty trained, crate trained and loves toys. she is overweight at this time but is a petit build. Karma would do wonderful in an apartment setting! she's not a big barker at all.

her adoption fee is $100 and she can be adopted anywhere in the United States.

Applications are at:
Mercysakes2ndchancerescue.com
