Kara's Story

Hey there! I'm Kara-a smart, playful and lovable pup who's ready to find my forever home. I'm an almost two-year-old, female Lab/Wire haired Jack Russel Terrier mix that wigh about 40lbs. I'm thriving in a busy foster house full of dogs, cats, chickens and even a 12-year-old human!

I get along really well with other dogs-actually, I love to play, and I play hard. I've been living with seven dogs of all sizes, and I've made friends with them all. I even get along with the cats! Chickens? Not so much-I bark at them (they're just too flappy). I think I'd be happiest in a home with at least one other dog to wrestle and romp with.

I'm crate trained, house trained and know how to take myself to my crate when I'm ready for a nap. I eat in my crate, too-there are a lot of mouths to feed here, so it helps keep the peace. I do guard my food a little, but with this many dogs, who wouldn't?

I know my name, come when called, ride well in the car, and I walk on a leash-though I do still pull sometimes (working on it!). I love to run, so a fenced yard is a must for me.

I'm not super needy, but I do like being near my people and getting lots of attention. I also love to chew-so I can't have soft bedding in my crate or I might redecorate. I'm very smart, eager to please and learning new things all the time.

I'm spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and on monthly preventatives.

I've done great in a loud, active home with lots of animals and people, and I'd love to find a forever home where I can keep growing, playing, and loving life. Could that be with you?

Please apply to adopt me here:
https://is.gd/DsWyej
