Kara's Story

Meet Kara!

Kara is a stunning 1.5-year-old spayed female pittie mix weighing in at 43 pounds of pure love and personality. This beautiful black girl is looking for a forever family that can keep up with her playful spirit while also appreciating her affectionate, snuggly side.

Kara loves people of all ages and currently lives with children, whom she does wonderfully with. Whether she's zooming around the yard, riding shotgun on a car adventure, or curled up next to you on the couch, Kara is happiest when she's spending time with her favorite humans.

She's an active young dog who loves to run, play, and wrestle with her canine friends. Kara currently lives with male dogs and does best with patient male companions who enjoy playtime as much as she does. She would not be a good fit for a home with cats or other small animals.

Kara is smart, eager to learn, and very food motivated, making training fun and rewarding. She already knows several basic commands, including sit, down, and shake, and she's currently working on improving her leash manners. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to blossom into an amazing companion.

Some of Kara's favorite things include:
Playing with her dog friends
Going for car rides
Treats and training sessions
Cuddling on the couch
Being close to her people
Sleeping with her humans at night

Kara is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion.
