Thank you.<br/>------------------------------------------------------<br/>Fostered in Toronto<br/><br/>Meet Kano Your Loyal Little Shadow <br/><br/>Kano is an adorable 7-year-old, male, Jack Russell mix with a slim, sleek build and a big heart packed into his tiny 8-pound frame. This charming little guy is deeply devoted to his person and thrives on companionship and truly wants to be part of your everyday life. <br/><br/>Because Kano is very small and can be a bit skittish, he's looking for a home without children. He would do best in an adult or youthful-senior household where his sensitive nature will be understood and respected. <br/><br/>Kano loves getting outside for several short walks a day. He does show some leash reactivity as everything in the big world is still new and a bit overwhelming for such a tiny fellow, so he'll benefit from guidance and confidence-building on walks.<br/><br/>He really enjoys having space to explore, especially in a securely fenced yard. He's happiest when he can stay close to his favourite human, whether that's following you around the house or being picked up for some cuddle time (one of his favourite things!).<br/><br/>Kano is not suited for apartment or condo living. Despite his small size, he has a big dog personality and will bark to alert you of visitors or anything he sees as a potential intruder. <br/><br/>Kano is currently working on his house training and will need time to adjust to a new routine in his adoptive home. A patient adopter committed to consistency and positive reinforcement will help him succeed. He hasn't been crate trained, but he does well when left in a quiet room and has not shown destructive behavior.<br/><br/>Above all, Kano is a loving, sensitive companion who bonds closely with his person. He would thrive in a home where someone is around much of the day, as he doesn't enjoy being alone for long periods.
