Meet Kanela! This beautiful 6 year old lab mix came to us from our rescue partner in sunny Puerto Rico! Kanla has lived her entire life as a street dog on the island, basking in the sun and shmoozing tourists into extra treats. Now, she is ready to settle down and put her past behind her. Kanela is a sweet, active, friendly girl who gets along with other dogs. She is learning her leash skills and household manners in our care, but a life on the streets doesn't prepare a dog for a home life! She will need training and socialization once in her forever home. Kanela is a happy, bubbly gal who is ready for the adventure of a lifetime!<br/><br/>We promised Kanela that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life.
