Kamari's Story

Name: Kamari
Age: 3-4 years
Weight: 41.4 lbs
Location: In foster in New Jersey

Looking for a lower maintenance best friend who is potty trained and past his crazy puppy stage, but still young and full of energy? Kamari might be the pup for you!

At around 2-3 years old, he is a medium sized labrador retriever mix with the typical lab temperament. Very playful, loyal and obsessed with his humans, whom he prefers over other dogs. He loves playing with other dogs too, but the second humans leave the room, he will follow them.

He will be your bestest cuddly friend who is easy to train (snack motivated and VERY smart). He can cuddle by your side while you work from home and he can come to long outdoor adventures with you. He likes toys, loves all humans and dogs (untested with cats), walks, naps and is up for pretty much anything as long as his humans are nearby. He is leash-, potty- and crate- trained and is a great candidate for off leash hikes (since he tends to be quite a velcro dog).

He can be a little shy with new people at first, so it's a guarantee that he won't just walk off with your neighbor who wants to steal him because he's such a good boy. He is not overly high energy, but will definitely need his walks, daily exercise and training. He'd be perfect for anyone who wants a cuddly teddy bear boy and can give him lots of love as well as a moderate amount of walking outdoors, mental stimulation and playtime.

Kamari is in foster in NJ.
