Kalu's Story

Kalu is a young (and very handsome) Shepherd mix who loves people and is very inquisitive. He was found with his brother Kiro (now adopted) in the winter of 2023 during a very cold snap. Both boys were friendly, but a bit shy. Kalu has come out of his shell so much since being rescued. He’s very smart and so loving. He makes friends easily. He loves being with his people. Kalu is a young guy with so much to offer!<br/><br/>Kalu is one of our dogs who lives in boarding. He has lived in a foster home but came back to boarding because his foster's work schedule intensified. Final Frontier Rescue Project's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to make good matches of dogs, people, and home environments. Our application and screening process may feel onerous, but we want lifetime matches, and if it does not work out, we take our dogs back, so we do our best to prevent that! We are all volunteers and we will respond to your inquiry or application as soon as we can, usually within 1-2 days. If none of our dogs is a good fit, we encourage responsible adopters to visit their local shelter to foster or adopt.
