Kally Kanal's Story
Meet Kally Kanal

3 years old 60 lbs Pit Bull mix

Kally's story didn't start the way it should have-but her ending is still waiting to be written.

She was found abandoned in a canal, unable to walk, injured, and alone. A group of college students climbed down and carried her to safety when no one else came. That moment changed everything-and Kally hasn't looked back since.

Today, she's a resilient, loving, and incredibly gentle girl who lives for affection, treats, and being close to her people. She may be strong and muscular, but her heart is pure softness. Her favorite place? Right next to you-curled up, cuddling, and completely content.

Kally is:
Excellent on leash - calm and easygoing
Great in the car - hops in and settles right down
Crate trained - no fuss, no accidents
Dog-friendly, but would do best with a submissive male or as the only pet
Kid-friendly and gentle with everyone she meets
Spayed, vaccinated, and on slow-kill heartworm treatment (fully covered)

At home, Kally is a quiet snugglebug who enjoys cozy naps, chew toys, and the occasional game of fetch (tennis balls are her favorite ). She doesn't demand attention-she just stays close, steady, and loyal.

Kally has already proven her strength. Now she's ready for something softer-a home where she's safe, loved, and never left behind again.

PLEASE READ BELOW:

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to complete an application and read all of our FAQs:

https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

Please note: Information to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application.
*An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application*
All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily.
