Kaiya's Story
Meet Kaiya!

Kaiya is a 3 month old 10lb Heeler/Chihuahua mix with a BIG personality packed into one little body! This confident little girl is funny, playful, and always ready to see what’s going on.

Kaiya absolutely loves other dogs and is good with cats and kids, making her a fun little companion for an active family. She’s smart, curious, and has all the makings of a fantastic dog but she’s also a cattle dog, so she’s going to need a family who understands the breed and is ready to give her the structure, training, exercise, and mental stimulation she needs to thrive.

She’s currently working on house manners and kennel training and still needs to learn her leash skills. Like any young puppy, she’s a clean slate and will need someone willing to continue teaching her how to be the best dog she can be.

Kaiya is already spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped, so she’s ready to start her next adventure!

If you’re looking for a smart, confident, hilarious little sidekick and you know and love the cattle-dog personality, Kaiya might just be your girl!

Submit an application at Hdrescueoregon.com. $400 adoption fee.
