Kaiser Steele (4 months old)'s Story
Meet Kaiser Steele aka Kaiser Roll

I was born on 11/18/25 so I’m almost 5 months old and I weigh about 40 lbs. I am most likely going to be a bigger guy!

My foster mom keeps telling me what a special boy I am! You see I was born with a deformed right hind leg. From the X-rays it is hard to exactly say what happened but theories are possibly born with the umbilical cord wrapped around my leg which caused me to lose feeling in it. Before the nice people of OOTPS rescued me I just had a stump that was really bothering me. I was chewing on it and it was causing a lot of hip rotation. The Drs all agreed it was to my benefit that it was removed up to my hip!

Well let me tell you, I felt like a new boy with that thing gone!!

I run with my foster siblings, walk on my leash pretty good and even do stairs. I am invincible if you ask me! I am not letting this slow me down one bit!

Everyone that has met me just raves about me. They actually call me grandpa at times cause I am definitely an old soul in a puppy body. Don't get me wrong I would love to play with a forever sister pup but I also love to just lay on the couch and chill with my people. I am often sitting quietly watching the world go by and taking everything in- A wise man!

My first 3-4 months I spent with my first home and had gotten used to pee pad training. My current foster mom is really trying to break me of this and get my to be a big boy and go outside!! I am trying hard but have some hiccups still. I will get it! I am pretty smart for sure. I am food motivated which is a plus right ?!

And guess what I am a quiet boy in my crate all night. In fact I am not a huge barker but more of a talker. I get pretty excited when playing with my friends and I start woofing to them!

I am looking for my forever family- hey maybe it is you. Apply at outofthepits.org for me!
