Meet Kairo!<br/>Kairo is a 6 year-old male Lab mix who loves being outside. He is very well behaved and is kennel trained. Kairo’s main purpose in life is to be outdoors and run around! He would love an active home with plenty of walks; with a cozy bed he can snooze on. Kairo is very respectful of your space and will sometimes stop by your side for some snuggles before going off to play again. Kairo does not like male dogs but seems okay around females. It is unknown yet if he’ll do well with cats.

Wetaskiwin Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

After selecting your pet, we require you to fill out the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee. After this is done your new family member will be ready for pick up in 24 hours. This gives you time to ready your home for a new addition and gives us time to make sure that any paperwork and services required are complete. If you change your mind in this 24 hour hold period your payment will be refunded to you. Choosing a pet is a big decision for you and your family but it is also a big life change for your new pet. We require all potential adopters to meet the animal in person prior to adopting. We unfortunately cannot accommodate travel arrangements or shipping of an animal.
