Kaida's Story
🐲 Meet Kaida: our little dragon with a big heart 🐲
Kaida's name means "little dragon," and it fits her perfectly. She's spirited, brave, and full of life -- and she's also a survivor. Kaida landed on a euthanasia list simply due to overcrowding.
Thanks to patience and compassion, she's now getting the chance she always deserved.
Kaida is crate trained and actively working on basic obedience. She's smart, eager, and wants to do the right thing -- she just needs guidance and consistency as she learns. She's an energetic girl who loves people, sometimes a little too much. When excitement kicks in, she may jump up and occasionally get mouthy, but she responds well to corrections and is learning appropriate boundaries.
We'll be fully transparent: Kaida is still working through some puppy challenges. She can have accidents in her crate, she barks at strangers while she's figuring out who's safe, and her enthusiasm sometimes gets the best of her. None of this comes from aggression -- it comes from insecurity, excitement, and a young dog still learning how to feel safe in the world.
Once she settles in, Kaida absolutely shines. She loves playtime, thrives on activity, and is discovering just how fun life can be when it's filled with structure, kindness, and routine.
Kaida will do best in an active home with a patient adopter who understands that dogs saved from tough beginnings need time, training, and reassurance. In return, she'll give you loyalty, laughter, and a whole lot of dragon-sized love.
If you're ready to help a young dog grow into her best self -- and you believe in second chances -- Kaida may be the one you've been waiting for.
Saved from euthanasia. Now waiting for the right human to believe in her.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
If you are interested in meet or adoption me, please fill out an adoption application athttps://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sa3058&method=online_form_html&formid=41
