He loves playing with squeaky toys, wrestling with his siblings, and testing all the dog beds. He comes running when called and is very excited to see his people. He can be shy when meeting new people but once you’re in, he is your devoted buddy. He is ready for a forever home that will give him the time and training that all young puppies need to continue to build confidence and social skills. <br/>Kai’s mom came to his Maryland foster home from Texas when she was pregnant. The little family remained in their foster home as part of the family while mom did an excellent job raising her puppies.<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. Puppies under 6 months of age may go to adoptive homes before they are spayed/neutered with a spay/neuter contract. Adopters who choose to adopt a puppy that has not yet been spayed/neutered are subject to an additional deposit of $100 (refundable upon proof of spay/neuter prior to the contracted date.) Included in the adoption fee, the rescue will arrange spay/neuter by a partner vet at a predetermined appointment when the puppy is between 7-9 months of age. It is the responsibility of the adopter to bring the adopted puppy back to the rescue vet for spaying/neutering or, if they choose, to send verification from their own vet (at the adopter's own cost) that the puppy had been spayed/neutered. All of our dogs will be microchipped.<br/><br/>Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging.
