I may be shy at first, but once we've had a proper sniff and a quiet introduction, I'll be nudging your hand for more pets and offering you my full attention.<br/><br/>I thrive in calm, structured environments and enjoy having a job to do-whether it's chasing a tennis ball, walking by your side, or lounging after a fun play session. I walk well on leash, I'm athletic (hello, hops!), and I absolutely love fetch. Sometimes I'll even drop the ball right into your hand.<br/><br/>While I'm still working on my confidence and consistency with housetraining, I'm incredibly eager to learn and bond. I do best with patient humans who are home often and willing to work with me through some anxiety and a few quirks that make me, well, uniquely Kai.<br/><br/>HOW AM I WITH DOGS:<br/>I'm dog-selective. I do best with respectful, friendly female dogs who give me space and good vibes. With the right match and a slow intro, I can enjoy doggy companionship.<br/><br/>HOW AM I WITH CATS:<br/>Unknown, but given my interest in small animals and birds, I would likely do best in a cat-free home.<br/><br/>HOW AM I WITH KIDS:<br/>I'm very fearful around children and feel safest in an adult-only home.<br/><br/>I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:<br/>Fetch champion! I'm working on basic commands and eager to learn more with positive training.<br/><br/>MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING:<br/>I've had some challenges with potty training and am not currently crate trained, but I do well with structure and routine.
