Kai

We received word that Kai is legally available for adoption. Kai is a Lab mix male who is about 3 years old. He has been tested and vaccinated, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He is housebroken, LOVES walks, and enjoys having a stuffy (stuffed animal). He does best if he is given his flea/tick prevention every 3 weeks instead of 4. He has allergies and the 3 week protocol has been working wonders for him. His coat is sleek . It is not what you might call long, but it is not short either. Kai becomes protective of his area which has become the shelter and his exercise pen. I have seen him in all sorts of weather. He would rather run in the rain or plow through the snow and check everything out. He seems to like some dogs, but I have also seen that one or two dogs have gotten on his nerves! It is our opinion that Kai would do best in a homewithout other dogs. He also enjoys hiking or long walks.
