Kade's Story

Cade was taken out of a Texas animal control shelter by our rescue partner in Amarillo in order to save this beautiful boy from a bad fate. He is a cute little 7 pound guy who is almost purebred chihuahua we think. Only a DNA test will tell for sure.. He sure would like a home where he can live out his second chance he was given! He is neutered and vaccinated fully and has a microchip too. He is loving and friendly and learning to walk on a leash here at the shelter. He is good with other dogs and lives with one here at the shelter. He can be adopted for $350 which does not even cover the medical work done, let alone the transport up to our area. Please give him another chance and fill out an application for us on our website and we will gt right back to you. PS.. he's a gorgeous boy, go fast if you are interested.

Thompson River Animal Care Shelter's Adoption Policy
TRACS has a pre-screening adoption application that we do require prior to any adoption. The link to that application is listed on this page (and found on the homepage of our website pet-tracs.com. Our adoption specialist will reach out via text to confirm receipt of the application and to discuss next steps, including scheduling an appointment to visit the dog(s) or cats of interest. If the application is accepted and the dog or cat of interest is selected, TRACS does do same day adoptions!!
