Kachi's Story

At just 6 months old, Kachi and his siblings were abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Despite early signs of neglect, Kachi has made an incredible recovery and is now a healthy, happy dog who's ready to find his forever family.

Kachi is highly intelligent and a quick learner, and he would benefit from a family willing to continue his training and provide the structure he needs to grow into a well-mannered adult. He is currently in his teething phase, so plenty of chew toys and mental stimulation will be important to keep him engaged and content.

Though affectionate, Kachi can be a bit timid and will need a patient adopter who has the time to help him adjust to new environments and build his confidence at his own pace. Once comfortable, he shows his playful side and enjoys spending time with other dogs. He especially loves roughhousing with his sisters. He would do well in a home with another friendly dog, ideally one who is not overly dominant.

Kachi would benefit from a home with a yard where he can safely come and go throughout the day. He can be quite vocal when excited (a Husky trait) so hell need a family whos ready for a talkative, enthusiastic companion. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown and would need to be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
