Kacey, Female, Akbash, 8 years old, 84 lbs.<br/><br/><br/>Technically, Kacey is a senior girl, but you’d never know it. She has been healthy and active her whole life. Kacey has also been very lucky to be loved greatly by her people. Unfortunately, unexpected, serious health issues have forced her people to make the devastating decision to rehome her.<br/><br/>Kacey was born and raised for 3 years on a working farm. She then moved to a big city and adapted well, but it was not an ideal environment for an Akbash. For the last 4 years, she has lived in a rural environment. We would like Kacey’s new home to also be in a rural or farm environment. <br/><br/>Kacey is a fantastic, loving companion. She is always up for an adventure, whether it be going for walks/hikes or car rides. Like a good Akbash, Kacey loves to oversee her domain. She is a great alarm dog, but is friendly with strangers and adores the people she knows. Kacey is good with children and friendly dogs, too. Being a guardian, she will take offence to reactive dogs. Kacey hasn’t been around cats since she lived on the farm.<br/><br/>Kacey will give her new people total love and devotion and will continue to be an awesome companion if she feels she can depend on the leadership of her people. Livestock Guardian Dog experience is preferred but not essential with this lovely girl.<br/><br/>Kacey has been spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date.
