Justice's Story

As he was being pushed out of a van, this handsome Dutch Shepherd along with three other canine companions were recorded being dumped on a neighbor's Ring camera. Minutes later, one of the foursome was struck and killed by a car on this busy street on a night where the temperatures were frigid. With the help and relentless dedication of several good Samaritans involved and along the way, the remaining three were caught, trapped and transported to safety. “It takes a village” to clean up when careless, thoughtless and cruel humans disregard every aspect of human decency.

Fast forward and the remaining three pets have had their medical exams, are well fed, are snuggled in a warm bed and, most of all, they are safe.

The mom, definitely in the worst condition, had growths, a ‘rat tail' (hairless tail), a mangled ear and was all but defeated. A huge blessing in this is that she was adopted by a kind soul almost immediately and is receiving the best care possible.

This is Justice, he is one of two remaining male pets. Justice is 1-2 years old, weighs 57 pounds (and could stand to gain a few more pounds). His brother Durch will be available for adoption soon too. They keep a clean kennel, a friendly to everyone they meet and get along well with other dogs. They have a great temperament and get along with everyone - human and canine. They are crate trained. Both come with our standard medical package which includes a neuter, microchip, rabies, parvo-distemper, Bordetella and heartworm test. They are dewormed and are on flea and tick as well as heartworm prevention.

If you believe your environment and family are a fit and you are interested in meeting either of these handsome lads, please submit an application.
