Jurgen

Available to Adopt – Jurgen

Current Location – Columbus OH

Meet our newest adoption candidate, Jurgen! He is 4 years old and looking for a fresh start. Jurgen's most favorite person passed away last year, and unfortunately, no one else in the family was able to care for him. Jurgen has been in our care for a short while now and has proven to be a very smart boy and a quick learner. He has some special super powers in that he hears with his heart, not his ears. In his foster home, he has been learning hand signals and is doing quite well with this. He will need an adopter who is committed to continuing to teach him how to navigate our hearing world.

Jurgen can get very excited to meet new people but calms fairly easily. He's not really sure what toys are for, but he sure loves car rides, especially if he can ride shotgun. Jurgen would really like a home that will spend as much time with him as possible, and let him sleep with them. He'd prefer to be the only pet in the household. He's not really a fan of a crate.

Jurgen is finishing up treatment for an ear infection and being evaluated for possible skin issues. He should be ready to find his forever home very soon.
