Juno's Story

Meet Juno! This handsome boy has the kind of face that just makes you want to fall in love.
Juno is a 5 year old neutered Husky. He was surrendered to us through no fault of his own when his owners had to move and could not bring him. Now, he is looking for a new forever home!
Juno is the whole package! He spent his life living as a farm dog, so he doesn't have much experience indoors. He's feeling pretty nervous at the shelter currently, but he's allowing us to handle him and is starting to get used to us. It will just take time for Juno to get adjusted to his new normal, and than watch out! Once he's comfortable, Juno is your typical Husky. He's energetic and playful, and has that famous Husky streak of being an escape artist, so a secure yard will be a must.
Juno has been around plenty of kids and other dogs before, and did well with them all. He has briefly met some cats but hasn't spent much time around them, so we are unsure how he'd do with feline siblings. We do know for certain, though, that Juno is no good with chickens! He has been known to catch some and cut their lives short, so for the safety of your feathered flock Juno will not be adopted to any home with chickens.
If you're getting some butterflies looking at Juno, then don't wait! Juno has received his first round of vaccinations, and he's microchipped. If you think Juno could be the dog for you, then lock it down tonight, and come meet him!
