Juno's Story

Hi, I’m Juno!

I’m a 16 month old St. Bernard mix, overflowing with brains, beauty, and big puppy enthusiasm. Yes, I’m a large girl, but don’t let my size fool you. I’m incredibly smart, deeply affectionate, and absolutely love having a job to do.

Since arriving at the shelter, I’ve been doing so well. I truly thrive on routine, structure, and clear guidance. The humans here say I’m one of the smartest dogs they’ve ever had in their care. I love training, I love learning, and I love making my people proud. I already know so many tricks and I’m always eager to master new ones. If you enjoy working with your dog, we are going to get along beautifully.

I’m still young and very much a puppy at heart. I’ve been learning to manage my excitement, and I’ve made amazing progress. I adore people and love other dogs, I’ve met and played with many dogs and have done fantastically. I’m responsive, social, and great at breaking away from play when asked.

Because I’m such a big, exuberant girl who is still perfecting her manners, if a home has kids… 15+ please. I love to play with everything and everyone, and I’m still learning that I am not, in fact, a tiny lap dog.

Like many intelligent dogs, I do best when my brain is kept busy. Training, enrichment, puzzles, and structured activity help me shine. When I’m bored or under stimulated, my inner puppy may decide to invent her own fun. I’m looking for someone who understands this, enjoys training, and is excited to continue helping me grow into the incredible dog I’m meant to be.

I will need ongoing veterinary care, proper nutrition, positive reinforcement training, and a loving, stable home.

If you’re searching for a loyal, clever, big hearted companion who will keep you laughing, learning, and endlessly loved, I might just be your girl.
