Juniper - Spice Litter

The puppies' adoption fee is $450, and they will come to their adopters spayed/neutered, microchipped, with age appropriate vaccinations, and several dewormings.** <br/><br/>Juniper is an active, playful, smart and feisty little girl! She'll do well with an adopter who will keep up with her energy level and keep her busy and mentally stimulated. She's a bit hesitant of adult dogs right now, so should have an adopter who either has another adult dog in the home, or someone who will be able to set up lots of playdates with other known dogs to make sure she grows up to be well socialized. YVPR had taken in two pregnant moms (who were both in the same household) and were able to get them into one of their foster homes where the puppies were then born. Unfortunately, the owners of the mom dogs only agreed to let YVPR (and, subsequently, us) take the puppies under the condition that the moms get returned to them but YVPR is going to ensure the moms spayed so they don’t have to go through this again. We would love to take the mom dogs as well but, this is out of our control and we are happy to, at least, help their puppies. <br/><br/>As with most of our pups, we aren’t sure of their mixes but the moms appear to be part Pit Bull type dogs. They are not related but, we think the puppies may all have had the same dad as there was a Pit Bull roaming around the area and the puppies were born within a day of each other. Of course, this is all conjecture. <br/><br/>The Cookie litter (9 puppies) were born on 10/30 and the Spice Litter (11 puppies) were born on 10/31. <br/><br/>Cookie Litter:<br/>Chocolate Chip - Male<br/>Macaroon - Male<br/>Samoa - Male<br/>Biscotti - Male<br/>Gingersnap - Female<br/>No-Bake - Male<br/>Rum Ball - Male<br/>Macadamia - Male<br/>Molasses - Female<br/><br/>Spice Litter:<br/>Ginger - Female<br/>Nutmeg - Female<br/>Pepper - Male<br/>Cocoa - Female<br/>Cinnamon - Female<br/>Caper - Male<br/>Poppy - Female<br/>Clove - Female<br/>Dill - Male<br/>Chipotle - Male<br/>Juniper - Female<br/><br/>The pups have all been in loving foster homes in groups of 2 and 3 for the last month, and have been socialized, exposed to lots of new things, and have started working on house and crate training. Several have been with kids or kitties or adult dogs or all of these or some of these. We will be working closely with each approved applicant to determine the best fit for the adoptive puppy and the family based on what we know about their personalities and temperaments. <br/><br/><br/>Please note that due to a large influx of applications we get for puppies, it can take several weeks for us to finish reviewing and processing them to find the best match for each individual puppy. Once adoption applications are approved, meetings will be set up with approved applicants, and, as mentioned, more information on individual puppies’ temperaments will be given and we will be working with each applicant to determine the best fit for the puppy and their prospective family.
