Juniper's Story

Meet Juniper, your new favorite lap dog. Juniper is a sweet 3-year-old female Chihuahua who believes that wherever you are is exactly where she should be. If youre sitting down, shell happily curl up in your lap. If youre moving around the house, shell be right there with you. This little girl is the ultimate companion and a true homebody.

When Juniper first arrived in her foster home, she was a little timid and needed some time to feel comfortable. With patience and a little time, she settled in beautifully and has really blossomed. She can be shy meeting strangers so a low traffic, quiet household will suit her well. She is friendly with other dogs and has also lived successfully with a cat. She enjoys playing with other friendly small dogs, though she would likely be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, too.

Juniper is doing well with both her house training and crate training. As with any dog moving into a new home, she may need a few refreshers while she adjusts to a new routine. Juniper is also a little communicator! She will bark to let you know when she thinks something is going on—whether thats a noise, activity, or something else that has caught her attention. Her alert little voice is part of her charm, so her forever family should be comfortable with a dog who likes to speak up when she has something to say.

This girl is happiest at home with her person. She would love a quiet, cozy life with access to a secure yard and someone who is home much of the time. Juniper doesnt need a busy social calendar—shed much rather spend her days at home keeping you company, snuggling close, and making herself comfortable by your side.

You can submit an application through our website, beachpets.com. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
