Juniper 's Story
Juniper is a 5-month-old Schnauzer mix with a BIG personality packed into a wiggly body. If energy were currency, she’d be a billionaire—this girl is basically a perpetual motion machine who seems to run on pure joy (and maybe a little caffeine 😄).

She absolutely adores people and wants to be wherever you are at all times. Juniper is the definition of a shadow dog—if you move, she’s moving with you. She thrives on attention, interaction, and being part of the action.

Juniper is doing well with crate training—she may protest with a few barks or whines at first, but she settles in and sleeps through the night like a champ. She’s also making great progress with potty training and is close to being fully trained when kept on a consistent schedule.

She’s a playful, social pup who loves toys and entertains herself easily. She’s done wonderfully with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine buddy, and she should be fine with dog-savvy cats.

Juniper is currently free-feeding and doing well, though her true motivation is fun and attention. She’ll do best in a home that can keep up with her energy, provide structure, and continue guiding her as she grows. She is presently 21 lbs.

If you’re looking for a lively, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining best friend who will keep you on your toes (and right by your side), Juniper is ready to meet you.

Juniper is in foster in Lakewood, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/juniper

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
