Junior's Story
Meet Junior
Junior is a handsome, medium-sized mixed breed with soulful eyes and a quiet charm. At around six years old, he’s a dog who has learned to be cautious after living in unpredictable situations. This means he can be shy with new people, but don’t let that fool you. Underneath his reserved exterior is a gentle, affectionate dog who truly wants to connect.
Since arriving at our shelter, Junior has made great progress. With routine, patience, and positive reinforcement, he’s showing his sweet side—checking in for comfort, leaning in for reassurance, and enjoying calm walks. When given slow introductions, time to sniff, and a few tasty treats, Junior warms up beautifully. Junior has been meeting new people, going on walks with volunteers, and is doing amazing!

Training & Support
Junior will need adopters who understand under-socialized dogs and are committed to helping him build confidence.
