Junior's Story

Junior We are taking applications for these precious babies. He will be ready to go to his foster to forever by the beginning of April. Husky/Shepherd mix DOB: February 9, 2026 Male Black/White Weight 3/5/26: 4.04 lbs. We pulled Mom from a local shelter on February 2nd, not knowing how far along her pregnancy was. Within a week, she gave birth to 6 adorable puppies. One of them, that we named Mocha, didn't make it. The rest of them are thriving & would love to have homes of their own, when they are ready. Husky savvy home preferred.

Kane's Mission - Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

The potential adopter would fill out an application. We would contact them, and have an initial phone interview. The next steps are to set up the home inspection, and perform reference checks, as well as reach out to their veterinarian to make sure that their current or previous animals were all kept up on vaccinations, monthly flea/heartworm meds, and that they were well cared for, medically. After the home inspection, we would set up a meet and greet with them. Sometimes more than one meeting is necessary, especially if they have other animals. Once approved, they would fill out and sign the adoption contract, and pay the adoption fee, and we would then deliver the animal to them.
