Junior's Story

Meet Junior!

Junior is an American Bulldog mix with a laid-back personality and a heart of gold. He's been an easy, go-with-the-flow kind of guy in his foster home, getting along wonderfully with other dogs, even those with bigger personalities. He's tolerant, patient, and enjoys playing when the mood strikes, especially with his dog friends, but is otherwise calm, quiet, and content to relax nearby. He shares toys nicely and shows no signs of guarding, making him a great companion for a multi-dog household.

Junior is fully housebroken and does well when left alone. While he's not crated regularly, he handles it just fine when needed. He may whine a bit at first but settles down without trying to escape. Because he tends to chase cats, a cat-free home is recommended. He hasn't been tested around kids yet. Junior does have a quirk to be aware of. At the vet, he gets nervous and may react when being handled, but this is something he's actively working on.

The good news is Junior is extremely treat motivated, which makes training and building trust much easier. With an adopter who can continue to guide him, Junior will make a loyal, easygoing companion.
