We're seeing his playful, happy side shine through more and more every day.<br/><br/>Hes really come out of his shell, especially when hes around other dogs. Junior loves to play and would do amazing in a home with a confident dog friend to keep showing him the ropes. <br/><br/>Junior's been going to adoption events at PetSmart and he's proven to be smart, silly and very treat motivated. He's learned sit and down and loves belly rubs!<br/><br/>Hes also been working on his leash skills and is getting better all the time, just taking things at his own pace. <br/><br/>Junior is just hoping for a home where he can be loved, a little spoiled, have fun, and finally enjoy what it means to have a forever family!<br/><br/>Sadly, Junior tested positive for heartworms. But please dont let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (wed love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, Junior will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!<br/><br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
