Junior's Story
Meet Junior! A lovable, big-hearted pup with an even bigger personality!

This sweet dog may be a little on the chunky side right now, but don’t let that fool you — he's got plenty of love (and wiggles) to give! With a gentle nature and a friendly spirit, he gets along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. Whether it’s making new human friends or happily greeting canine buddies, this pup is all about connection and companionship.

Being a true sports fan, Junior attended a Mariners game for Bark in the Park. He was on his best behavior, and a fun time was had by all! In fact, he was the best dog we’ve ever taken to an event - calm and friendly with dogs, people and children! Such a good boy!

One important note: this pup would do best in a home without cats. He's much more comfortable sticking to their dog-and-human social circle.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a heart as big as his adorable frame, come meet Junior today!

The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.

Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.

** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process.
