Junior's Story

Meet, Junior! Junior is an approximately 100 lbs male Tibetan Mastiff mix (with German Shepherd, Husky, and Alaskan Malamute). He is 2 years old. Junior came in to our facility as a stray and was not reclaimed by an owner. He is a very sweet boy and has been great here at the shelter. He also appears housetrained and keeps his kennel clean. Junior will need a home who is guardian breed experienced and is comfortable handling large dogs with lots of undercoat. He also will need to be appropriately contained if left unattended (we have containment recommendations for adopters). If you are interested in adopting this very handsome boy, his adoption fee is $150 and he is now neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm tested negative. Please stop by the shelter to meet him, or call/email 630-553-9256 or animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov for more information.
