Junie's Story

Hi, I'm Junie and it's so great to meet you! I look just like a big scoop of fudge ripple ice cream, and I promise my personality is even sweeter. I'm a fun gal who is playful, bouncy and always ready to turn an ordinary day into the best day ever. I'm always up for whatever you're doing, with whoever, wherever. I get along with everyone I meet- people of all ages, other dogs and even cats. I'm equal parts adventure buddy and professional snuggler, wrapped up in the cutest package you've ever seen. Send in an application to meet me today!

West Suburban Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Dog and cat adoptions are the foundation of our mission and the services we offer. After more than 48 years of helping find compatible and loving homes for the animals in our care, we still have a lot more to do. There are thousands of homeless animals in the Chicagoland area waiting to find homes. We hope that you will take the time to learn more about our adoption process and consider adopting one of our current residents. WSHS does its best to match adopters with the dog or cat that would be best suited to their family situation and lifestyle.
