Jones (affectionately called Ruthie by her foster mom), a beautiful girl who has spent so much of her life taking care of everyone else. Now, it's finally her turn to be someone's baby!<br/><br/>Junie arrived in Illinois from Tennessee this summer with her SIX puppies in tow. Life hadn't been kind to this sweet mama, and she desperately needed a safe place to land. Despite everything she'd been through, Junie was an incredible mother, giving her babies all the love and care they needed.<br/><br/>Her puppies have grown, Junie is healthy and happy, and now she's ready for the best chapter yet — a forever family of her very own!<br/><br/>And here's what makes Junie extra special...<br/><br/>Her foster mom says she's one of the BEST dogs she's ever fostered! And that's saying something!<br/><br/>Let's talk about what makes Junie so wonderful!<br/><br/>People lover! Junie does great meeting new people and is friendly with strangers.<br/><br/>Dog friendly! She gets along well with other dogs.<br/><br/>Smart and trainable! Junie does have a prey drive, but she's willing to listen and eager to learn. When she first arrived, she was very interested in her foster family's parakeets. With guidance and consistency, she now completely ignores them! How's that for a smart girl?<br/><br/>Perfect little lady! She takes treats gently and walks nicely on leash using a prong collar.<br/><br/>Professional sunshine enthusiast! Junie LOVES being outside soaking up the sunshine. Give this girl a sunny spot, and she's in heaven!<br/><br/>Low-key lifestyle! Two 30-minute walks a day make Junie happy. The rest of her schedule? Napping, relaxing, and enjoying life. She's not asking for a marathon runner — just someone to enjoy the simple things with.<br/><br/>Certified cuddle bug! Junie is affectionate, joyful, and an absolutely wonderful snuggle buddy.<br/><br/>Housebroken and crate trained! She's completely house trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate.<br/><br/>Seriously... what more could you ask for?<br/><br/>Junie has already done the hard part. She survived a difficult beginning, raised six beautiful puppies, learned to trust, and blossomed into an incredible companion.<br/><br/>Now she deserves a family who will love her just as much as she's loved everyone else.<br/><br/>A family who will give her sunny afternoons, cozy evenings, a little patience and guidance, and a whole lot of love.<br/><br/>Her foster mom has given her a glowing review. Now it's our turn to look out for her.<br/><br/><br/>Our standard adoption fee is $465. We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450.<br/><br/>The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip.<br/><br/>To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household.
