Junie's Story

Hi, my name is Juni!

I’m a beautiful one-year-old Beagle mix, and I’m hoping my forever family is out there looking for a sweet girl just like me!

I love people, love other dogs, and I’m good with cats, so I’m ready to be part of a loving family. I’m also doing great with my potty training and go outside to do my business like a good girl.

I love going for walks and using my nose to sniff and explore. I don’t chase other animals on my walks, and I’m a good leash walker. My foster mom says a harness is best for me. She has even taught me that when she says “yes,” I’m doing a good job, and when she says “no” and stops, I turn around and come right back to her side. I’m a smart girl and I really want to make my foster mom happy!

When we’re home, I love to play fetch and play with my squeaky toys. And I have a very special bedtime routine—I gather up all my toys and put them in my bed! My foster mom says I’m a really good little cleaner-upper.

I’m crate trained, but if my foster mom says I’m allowed to sleep with her, I’m absolutely happy to snuggle up beside her. And let me tell you...I am a professional snuggler! If she stays in bed all morning, I’ll happily stay right there with her.

My foster mom doesn’t let me on the furniture, and I listen because I know my boundaries. Instead, she sits on the floor with me, plays with me, and gives me lots of love. I also enjoy being brushed, and I’m very treat motivated, which makes learning new things extra fun!

I’m playful, affectionate, smart, well-mannered, and oh-so-pretty. Most of all, I’m just a good girl looking for someone to love forever.

Could you be my person?
I’m ready to give you my whole heart. If you would like to meet me, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. My adoption fee is $275.

Adoption fee includes:
- microchip
- spay/neuter
- age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies
- heartworm preventive and flea/tick preventive
- deworming
