Junie's Story

Meet Junie!

Junie is a spunky, sweet almost 4-year-old pup with a heart full of love and a fresh start to share. After spending 7 months in a shelter, she came to Hope in early 2025 and has been soaking up every bit of her freedom ever since. She holds a very special place in our hearts as our longest resident, and we cannot wait to find her the home she deserves!

Junie is super smart and eager to learn. In February 2026 she spent 5 weeks at a board and train and her transformation has been so amazing to see. She has come so far and has never been more ready for her forever home!

She loves walks, exploring nature, and long car rides. She is potty trained and crate trained and has never had a single accident in her foster home! In fact, Junie's first priority in the morning isn't going potty, it's getting kisses and pets. She loves people deeply, and while she can be a little skittish at first, she warms up quickly and once she is comfortable with you, she will be your most loyal companion!

Junie can get pretty excited around other dogs and does best with slow, structured introductions over time. Because of this, she would thrive in a home without small dogs or cats, and any big dogs in the home would need to be introduced gradually.
She is like a big puppy who doesn't quite know her own size yet, so a home with older children or no kids would be the best fit. A fenced yard would also be a big plus!

Junie is spayed and completed her heartworm treatment back in May 2025, such a brave girl! She has been through a lot, but her spirit is unbreakable, her heart is huge (just like that big pittie head), and her tail is always wagging. She can't wait to meet you. Apply to adopt Junie today!
