June Bug's Story

Meet June Bug! This sweet girl is learning day by day that the world and the people in it are not so scary. She is starting to come out of her shell and is showing what a sweet and playful dog she can be. She has been loving going into our fenced play yards and running around while playing with toys. June bug would love a calm home that can be patient with her while she continues to work on her confidence.

Notes from my cold weather foster: June Bug is a gorgeous girl who definitely loves her toys. So much so that she takes every toy she can find and carries them back to her bed. She is slowly opening up but can still be nervous on the leash outside. Passing cars, golf carts and loud noises outside do startle her. However, when dogs pass she is very excited to interact with them. People don't seem to scare her and she will sit and wait for them to move on.

Inside she is still scared but is investigating more and more inside but does run back to her safe place (her pen/bed area) quite frequently. She will sit on the sofa and watch TV for a bit.

She's not a picky eater. She's a great sleeper at night with no whining or barking.

All this girl needs is a home with patience and time to let her learn, trust, and love!
