Julio is a 6 years, 9 months old male Short Coat Chihuahua/Mix.<br/><br/>*Julio has IVDD and a significant heart condition, and is a special medical needs dog.<br/><br/>Meet Julio, one of those little guys who seems to collect friends everywhere he goes!<br/><br/>Julio is an incredibly sweet, social little soul who adores people and has happily befriended all of our volunteers and staff. If there's an available lap, Julio would very much like to be in it. He loves cuddles, attention, and simply being close to people. He's also friendly with other animals, including dogs and may do wonderfully with kids. Julio rides well in the car.<br/><br/>This past weekend, Julio had a very important job as a WARL ambassador at Pet Rock, and he absolutely loved it! He calmly greeted person after person and even made some unusual new friends, including alpacas and rabbits. Julio took the whole adventure in stride, happily soaking up all the attention.<br/><br/>Julio does have medical needs that may require ongoing and potentially costly care, so his future family will need to be prepared to provide for him. Please see above.<br/><br/>What Julio offers in return is pretty wonderful: a whole lot of affection, companionship, cuddles, and one very happy little face looking up at you. He's ready to find his people! We are currently taking applications for Julio, and he can be met on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm during our walk-in adoption days.
