Juliet's Story

Meet Juliet, a delightful canine companion residing at our local shelter. Known for her sweet demeanor and friendly attitude, Juliet embodies loyalty and companionship. She loves spending time with people, showing affection, and eagerly participating in playful activities. Juliet is a big girl, who sometimes forgets she's no longer a silly little puppy, so she would do best in a home with big kids, as that big head and constantly wagging tail are full of strength. Adopting Juliet means gaining a loyal companion who will bring joy and unconditional love to your home.

A website can tell part of a pets story, but not all of it. You'll notice that some pets may be listed as unknown or may not receive a yes for things like house training, compatibility with children, cats, or other pets. In many cases, this doesn't mean the answer is no, it means we cant guarantee the answer with complete certainty. Because every home, family, and pet dynamic is unique, behaviors in a shelter environment don't always predict behaviors in a home.

That's why adoption is about more than a website profile. Our team is here to share what we've observed, answer your questions, learn about your lifestyle, and help connect you with a pet that's the right fit for your family.

Pet Helpers Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Our adoption process usually begins with potential adopters (21 or older) coming into the shelter to look around at our available animals. When we have a better idea of who we want to adopt the potential adopter fills out one of our adoption questionnaires which we will then look over. We do have to confirm certain information like an apartment complexes pet policies, verifying that current pets are up to date on their vaccines, etc. We also try to meet all the humans in the household as we believe adopting a new animal should be a group decision. With our dog adoptions we also require dog to dog meet and greets in order to help make sure the potential new dog is a good fit. We love nothing more than seeing our shelter animals find their forever homes and we do everything in our power to make sure each adoption is a happy and successful one. Everything we do is ultimately for the health and happiness of animals.
