Meet Julia <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Julia is one of our precious pups from the “New Leash on Life” program, and she's ready to find a forever family to love! At around 9 weeks old and weighing about 9 pounds, we expect her to grow into a medium-sized dog. While her exact breed mix is unknown, her mom appears to be a beagle/hound mix (possibly with some lab), and Julia is as sweet and lovable as they come.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Julia has had an amazing head start thanks to the New Leash on Life prison training program, where she's been working one-on-one on skills like sit, stay, leash walking, and potty training. She's also been well socialized with people, other puppies, and adult dogs. Her trainers say she's very smart and eager to learn—she's already impressing everyone!<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Now in foster care, Julia is thriving. She's playful, happy, and full of that fun puppy energy, but also incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people.
