Tends to bark/pull/jump on leash towards other dogs and/or people and will benefit from a calm neighborhood and experienced handler, or a backyard.
: Gets along with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion. She has done well with respectful dog pals!
: Judy has not interacted with cats while in our care but is likely not a match due to prey drive towards critters.
Adults-Only Home Preferred: Feels most comfortable in a home without children.

Judy is the ultimate lover girl! She is so affectionate and sweet, following her person around, being near them at all times, and even giving "hugs". She's got bouncy goblin ears that are full of personality and the most boopable snoot. She's so playful and goofy, often entertaining herself with toys, especially stuffed ones, (but ultimately prefers to play with you, especially fetch). She also likes using her brain to do enrichment tasks and learning new things. She's a one-of-a-kind lady who needs a little extra attention, but she's so worth it!

Judy has mild hip dysplasia and has been taking joint supplements and anti-inflammatory meds while in our care. Her adopter and their private vet should monitor/manage this going forward.

Judy has been DNA tested for fun! Rudy's genetic makeup includes: German Shepherd Dog (59.1%), Supermutt (19.2%), Rottweiler (11.7%), and Doberman Pinscher (10%).

Judy's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter!

Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/.
