JUDY's Story

Hi, I’m Judy! I’m looking for a home. Not to brag, but here goes: I’m an affectionate, intelligent, and well-mannered girl who loves being with my people. I’m especially gentle with children and enjoy forming close bonds with my family. I’m house-trained, crate trained, and sleep quietly through the night. I have excellent manners in the home, don’t chew or make messes, and settle easily into household routines. I enjoy walks, tug toys, scent games, and just spending time with my people. I know “sit,” walk nicely on leash, and my recall is getting better every day. In my most recent foster home, I lived with a male dog I really enjoyed. I’d probably do best as the only female dog in the home. Sometimes I can get a little nervous around other dogs, especially on leash, so I may need some guidance - or honestly, I’d also be perfectly happy staying home while you head out to farmer’s markets and events. There were also cats in my foster home, but I’m still figuring out what they are. I was respectful to their chicken who were in a run -I didn't bother or bark at them. The shelter environment can be stressful for me, and I often don’t show my best side. Won’t you consider giving me a chance. All I really want is a calm, loving home where I can relax, feel safe, and be part of the family. With patience, understanding, and a little guidance, I’ll reward you with loyalty, affection, and companionship.
