Jude's Story

Na na na nananana, nananana... hey Jude
If you've been looking for the newest MVP of your household, Jude is ready to sign with her forever family.

This gorgeous German Shepherd mix is 3 months old and already stands out on the field. Because... those ears. We're actually not 100% convinced they're ears at all. They might be satellite dishes. But man, are they cuuuute. She currently weighs about 15 pounds and is expected to top out around 50 pounds.

Jude may be new to the roster, but she's already mastered one position: right by your side. She doesn't exactly believe in solo sports - this little gal prefers to keep her teammates within sight at all times. The only thing she'll leave your side for? A squeaky toy or a bully stick.

Jude is still figuring out the puppy playbook. She's working on house training, kennel training, and leash walking one day at a time. She already knows "sit" and "outside," and because she's such a smart girl, she'll be picking up new tricks in no time. A confident dog sibling would make an excellent coach, but it's not a requirement.

She's a fan of kids but hasn't been around cats yet. And one thing to know about Jude: don't underestimate her athleticism. She's discovered she can climb over baby gates, so she'll need a home that's ready to stay one step ahead while she continues learning.

It's time for Jude to join her forever team. Do you have room for one more player?

Jude's adoption fee is $275 and includes her spay, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters.

Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org

Pawsitive Tails's Adoption Policy
Pawsitive Tails is dedicated to matching the needs and personality of our dogs with your family. We are not in a hurry to adopt out our dogs; we want to make sure the match is perfect for everyone. All of the dogs in our rescue live in foster homes with both the human and furry members of our families. Our adoption process begins with an application which can be found under the "adopt" tab on our website, www.pawsitivetailskc.org. Please complete the form in full; the questions we ask help us to fully understand what type of dog you are looking for, and to make sure you get the very best fit. Incomplete applications will not be processed. If you do not include a vet phone number, a landlord phone number (if applicable), or 3 complete references, we cannot process your application. We will contact your Veterinarian, so please make sure to call them to release your vet history to our volunteer. &nbs
