Jude is just too cute for words! He is a 4 to 5 year old terrier/Shih Tzu? mix who only weighs about 12 pounds. He could stand to gain a pound or two! He came from a small rural Kansas town where he was found running as a stray, but he was definitely a loved pet at some time in his life. He is very social with people and other dogs after proper introductions. He loves belly rubs and will flip over on his back to make it easier for you. He seems to be crate trained and housetrained.<br/><br/>Jude likes to wander around in the fenced-in backyard at his foster home. He is not sure what to make of deer in the yard, but otherwise is a pretty calm and quiet guy. Due to his small size, we think that his ideal home would be with adult adopters, in a quiet home, with no children. He loves lots of attention and laptime, so a retired person or couple, or someone who works from home would be great. He seems to be a pretty quiet guy, so he would be a candidate for an apartment or condo home.<br/><br/>Jude is neutered, he is up to date on his vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and microchipped.
