Jude's Story

How this pet arrived:Jude was brought in by his previous owner on June 3, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Jude is a charming guy who enjoys his walks and likes to do things on his own terms. He appreciates having his space respected and may take some time to feel comfortable with new people, so the best way to build a relationship is to let him approach when he is ready and allow him to take space when needed! He would thrive in a calm, patient home that can keep his world small while he settles in, with quiet walks, cozy naps, and plenty of time to adjust. Once he builds a bond and really gets to know you, his true personality blossoms! He becomes wonderfully bouncy, happy to see you, and will lean right into your hands for petting! Jude can be a bit sensitive about grooming, so he would benefit from a Fear Free veterinarian and gentle, reward-based handling for any future grooming needs. With a little patience and understanding, Jude is sure to become a loyal friend and wonderful lifelong companion! At SDHS:Jude has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for adoption! Shy/Fearful Dog: Jude requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about him. Primary Color: Tan Weight: 51.2lbs Age: 4yrs 3mths 4wks Animal has been Neutered
