Joy is 6 years old and a tiny 8 lbs. She was surrendered by her owner because owner had to move to assisted living and could not take her along. Very sad for both owner and Joy. She is missing her person and would love to find another lap to keep worm. We were told she is a jack russell, but obviously a jack russell mix of some sort. Maybe chihuahua? Maybe toy fox terrier? We don't know for sure. Joy is used to living with an elderly person in a quiet home. She is not used to a loud or rowdy environment and would really love a home with a slower pace. She gets along with all other dogs but really is more people oriented and doesn't want to play with others. It has been hard for her to adjust to all the changes and she just likes to keep quiet and lay in her bed right now. Once she finds that special someone she will be happier and most likely more active than she is now. Darling little Joy is sad and lonely. Perfect companion for someone wanting a little buddy to cuddle with.
