Joy's Story

Joy is part of a litter of 11 puppies and mom dog that were taken in by our rescue. Joy is now 4 months old. Mom dog is a Malinois/Shepherd mix, dad dog/dogs are of unknown breed. The puppies all look different, thus probable that there were different dad dogs. Some like Joy have some husky markings and are cream and apricot colored, while others with husky markings are grayer and browner and then there are all black puppies with no husky markings and yet others are red/black/tan...all different! Joy, along with the others will be a large dog that require daily exercise, and frequent activity so will need a home where this can happen. Like all puppies, Joy is adorable, playful, curious and always hungry but she is the cuddliest of all of them. She joins in with all her brothers and sisters to play and does not appear to try to be dominant. Joy has had her complete series of puppy vaccines and is microchipped. Because they are too young yet for their spay/neuters all the puppies will be adopted provisionally. This means they will be required to be brought to our veterinarian's office when it is time for them. Those costs are covered by the rescue and are partially offset by their adoption fees.
